Rodefer Moss, PLLC is a regional CPA firm built on a simple philosophy: listen better, try harder, and care more. We’re seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Knoxville team and play a key role in leading people, serving clients, and shaping the future of our tax practice.

What You'll Do:

As a Tax Manager, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop tax professionals, providing meaningful feedback and supporting career growth
  • Plan, supervise, and deliver multiple tax engagements across a diverse client base
  • Prepare, review, and plan federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
  • Research complex tax issues and provide clear, practical guidance to clients and team members
  • Build strong internal partnerships and trusted client relationships
  • Collaborate with other managers and partners to drive quality, consistency, and innovation
  • Contribute broadly to the firm as a leader and problem-solver

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have 5+ years of public accounting experience, including tax planning and review
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and an active CPA license
  • Bring experience with corporate, individual, and partnership taxation
  • Are a strong communicator with proven leadership and mentoring skills
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and can manage competing priorities with confidence
  • Are committed to continuous learning and professional development
