What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Inventory Control Specialist for an on‑site, hands‑on role. If you are passionate about technology and logistics and want to personally run the day‑to‑day inventory and logistics operation at this site or one of our other sites, we’d love to meet you.

As an Inventory Control Specialist for Arvato, Denton, you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of inventory within the Arvato warehouse operations. You will be responsible for reviewing exceptions in the Arvato core processes including Inbound quarantine, OB trouble shooting, auditing of cycle counts, review of inventory adjustments, and monitoring the sync report between Arvato’s WMS and the Coreweve systems. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach when working with various cross-functional teams.

About the role:

  • Manage Inbound Exceptions: Support the Inbound quarantine area in the warehouse, troubleshooting issues with Purchase Orders, Transfer Orders, and vendor information to allow for SOX compliant receiving.
  • Review Inventory Adjustments: Review recommended inventory adjustments from the Arvato cycle count team to determine whether corresponding adjustments need to be completed in NetSuite.
  • Audits: Complete scheduled audits or cycle counts of site inventory to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Manage Inventory Sync Report: Review and resolve discrepancies between Arvato WMS and NetSuite regarding inventory levels and warehouse transactions.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records and take proactive measures to prevent inventory-related issues.
  • Reverse Logistics (RMA): In partnership with internal teams execute the full Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, including ensuring items are safely and securely packaged for return, coordinating with carriers, and accurately processing replacements or credits upon receipt.
  • Communication: Build relationships, collaborate, and communicate openly and effectively with various teams, including but not limited to Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance.

Who You Are:

  • Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end logistics and inventory management, ideally within the IT sector.
  • Experienced in cycle counts and/or audits.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in or awareness of 5S methodologies.
  • Capable of flexing and pivoting as priorities shift.
  • A passion for technology and a willingness to learn about the latest advancements in cloud computing services.

The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000. The starting salary will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
