Job Description
- Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station, ensuring all equipment is functional Set
- Prepare ingredients and components before service to ensure smooth workflow
- Guide and train junior chefs or commis cooks assigned to the station
- Manage supplies, order ingredients, and track stock levels for the section
- Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and occasionally create new dishes
- Enforce sanitation standards and comply with food safety regulations
Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in luxury hospitality
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Additional Information
experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English
additional languages are a plus
