What You'll Be Doing

As a Commis Main Kitchen, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operations. You'll work hands-on with our culinary team to keep things running smoothly, from prepping ingredients to maintaining our kitchen standards. Here's what a typical day looks like:

Daily Kitchen Operations

• Stock your assigned station with fresh ingredients and raw materials each day
• Get comfortable with all our kitchen equipment and always follow safety protocols when using them
• Master the fundamentals—think knife skills, prep work, and getting your mise-en-place ready for service
• Prepare dishes following our recipe cards, keeping portions consistent and waste to a minimum
• Maintain our food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) every single day
• Keep your station and all equipment clean and well-maintained
• Flag any hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment that needs repair to your supervisor right away

Beyond the Station

• Know our fire and life safety procedures inside and out
• Show up to all briefings, meetings, and training sessions ready to learn
• Keep your personal appearance and hygiene at the top level—it matters in this role
• Pitch in with other tasks as the team needs you

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant culinary training)
• At least 1 year of hands-on kitchen experience
• Solid knowledge of Indonesian, Oriental or Western cuisine
• Comfortable communicating in English
