Part- Time Director Of Aftercare(NE)(2026-2027)-Archbishop Borders School, Baltimore MD

Job description

The Extended Day Care Director for Archbishop Borders Catholic School, located in Baltimore City, should have management experience and experience working with young children. In addition, he/she would be responsible for the direct supervision of students within the program as well as the staff. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Essential Functions

• Supervise the daily operations of the Extended Care Program.
• Supervise aides in planning appropriate social, physical, and creative activities for the students.
• Provide a safe and clean environment for the students.
• Record daily student attendance.
• Record daily payments and post to the accounts receivable system.
• Work with the Business Office on monthly billing.
• Communicate daily with Extended Care Program parents regarding concerns or issues, schedule changes, and general administrative matters.
• Supervision of day care staff members.
• Communicate all significant concerns and issues to the school administration.
• Comply with all regulations of the State Letter of Compliance.
• Complete all paperwork required to update and maintain the State Letter of Compliance.

Position Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field preferred.
• MSDE childcare credentialing or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR certified.
• Excellent references.

Pay Rate: $25.00, Hourly
