Managed Care Contracting Analyst

Job description

The Managed Care Contracting Analyst provides analytical, financial modeling, and operational support for Augusta Health’s payer contracting activities across hospital, physician, and ancillary services. The role develops reimbursement models, contract analyses, and payer performance reports to support negotiation strategies, evaluate financial impact, and strengthen organizational sustainability. The Analyst monitors contract performance, identifies payment variances and underpayments, tracks payer policy changes, and collaborates with Revenue Cycle to resolve issues. Responsibilities also include maintaining the contract repository, tracking key terms and renewals, and preparing materials for negotiations, payer meetings, and executive reporting.
