Patient Care Technician, PCT - Medical Innovation (Night Shift) - Part Time

Job description

Under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse, performs various duties assisting unit staff nurses and clerical specialists to ensure efficient unit operations and safe patient care following established procedures. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit or within his/her department. Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures, while maintaining the Augusta Health Service Standards.
** Team members who are enrolled in Augusta Health’s in-house Patient Care Tech (PCT) program will be temporary assigned to work in the capacity of Patient Observer in their assigned unit until they have successfully completed the program.
