Job description

The Investor's main responsibility is to support clients and bankers in all aspects related to portfolio management (follow-up / proposal / implementation / accountability) based on the Investment Committee decisions.

Typical activities and responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct portfolio reviews with clients looking for strategic and tactical opportunities in all asset classes and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment products based on client's risk profile.
  • Focus on market trends/opportunities and maintain communication with internal and external client and providers.
  • Develop, close sales and monitor complex investment products.
  • Proactively participate in the investment idea generation process while interacting with other members of the investment team.
  • Establish a close working relationship with internal clients (Bankers).
  • Adhere to internal and external policies, procedures, processes and guidelines.
  • Execute securities trades, requested by clients and /or their third party managers or registered representatives in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and control the distribution of products to internal clients through investment meetings and presentations.
  • Work closely with Strategy, Products, Treasury, and Trading desk in creating solutions for clients.
  • Compliance with laws, rules, regulations and the bank's code of conduct and AML policies and procedures.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field
  • MBA or CFP/CFA preferred

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in Private Banking of other related Financial Markets experience.

Performance

  • Internal candidates: consistent strong performer in current role (Upper L or Expected Performance + at least 2 times in the past 3 cycles)

Specific Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience/knowledge of markets and investment products in equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives and alternative investments
  • Sales experience including negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and overcoming objections
  • Ability to work in a team based environment

Preferable Skills and Experience

  • Using Copilot tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.
  • Applying AI solutions to portfolio analysis and investment research.
  • Building client dashboards that support investment recommendations and portfolio monitoring.
  • Creating assistants and agents that automate tasks, streamline processes, and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Rethinking and redesigning workflows through AI-enabled solutions to support scalable and sustainable growth.
