As a Commercial Buyer, you will play a key role in shaping Bosch's sourcing strategy and ensuring a resilient and competitive supply base. Working in an international environment, you will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive business success, support new product launches, and contribute to sustainable growth.

Your contribution to something big:

  • Developing and implementing category and sourcing strategies for assigned material groups.
  • Analyzing market and supplier data to identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and cost optimization.
  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial agreements to achieve business objectives.
  • Securing supplier capacities for new projects and ensuring readiness to support future business demand.
  • Driving initiatives related to supply chain resilience, risk mitigation, and supply continuity.
  • Supporting the resolution of material shortages and supply challenges in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leading cross-functional projects involving purchasing, engineering, logistics, quality, and manufacturing teams.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships at different organizational levels and influencing strategic procurement decisions.
  • Monitoring procurement market trends and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and value creation.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Procurement, Category Management, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience working in an international environment and managing supplier relationships.

Know-how

  • Strong understanding of category management, sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement processes.
  • Experience in supplier negotiations, cost optimization initiatives, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable business decisions.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing environments is considered an advantage.

Languages

  • Fluent English skills, written and spoken.
  • German language skills are a plus.
