Roles & Responsibilities :
Lead and coordinate end-to-end data migration activities from project preparation through go-live and stabilization.

1. Collaborate with business teams, project managers, and stakeholders across Europe and North America.

1. Drive the migration strategy, including migration concepts, object dependencies, and cutover planning.

1. Provide process overviews and support migration planning activities.

1. Offer technical migration guidance and solutions to the technical migration team based in India.

1. Design, develop, and implement technical migration objects.

1. Work closely with IT experts, functional consultants, and process owners to gather and validate migration requirements.

1. Collaborate with the Central Migration Manager to support migration planning, execution, and governance.

1. Coordinate with technical and cross-functional teams during development, unit testing, and migration validation.

1. Prepare and manage migration plans and cutover activities across all project phases.

1. Track migration progress, prepare status reports, and provide regular updates to project management.

1. Take full ownership of technical migration deliverables, ensuring quality and timely completion.

1. Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all technical data migration activities within the project.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering

Experience :

10+ years of experience in SAP Data Migration with minimum 2 projects in S4HANA rollouts as Migration Manager

Mandatory/requires Skills :
Strong experience in data migration management, including planning, tracking, reporting, migration consulting, and cutover planning.

1. Hands-on experience with SAP BODS and SAP Migration Cockpit, with at least three end-to-end migration projects.

1. Good understanding of SAP business processes to gather migration requirements and define migration rules while working with cross-functional teams.

1. Strong knowledge of business objects, data dependencies, and technical migration activities, with expertise in SAP Migration Cockpit and SAP BODS (mandatory) and exposure to Syniti (preferred).

1. Proficient in business analysis, business process understanding, and technical solution design.

1. Proven experience in customer-facing roles with strong client management skills.

1. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional and interface teams.

1. Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills to drive distributed migration teams across multiple locations.

1. Knowledge of additional data migration tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills : BODS + Migration cockpit

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

1. Ability to mentor team members and drive migration best practices across projects.
