Job description
We are looking for a Finance Manager to own the financial performance of a dedicated business unit. This role combines financial planning, profitability management, liquidity oversight, reporting, and cost analysis to support business growth and informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- ### Profit & Loss (P&L) Management
- Own the Profit & Loss statement for the assigned business unit.
- Monitor revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and profitability.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts.
- Identify revenue enhancement and cost optimization opportunities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to business leaders.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
### Liquidity Management
- Monitor daily and long-term liquidity positions.
- Forecast cash inflows and outflows.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity to support business operations.
- Collaborate with Treasury and Operations to optimize cash utilization.
- Support working capital optimization initiatives.
### Financial Reporting
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs for business performance monitoring.
- Analyze financial variances and explain key business drivers.
- Present financial results and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
### Cost Analysis & Financial Efficiency
- Analyze operational and departmental costs.
- Monitor cost allocation and expense trends.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Evaluate ROI and financial impact of business initiatives.
- Support pricing, margin, and profitability analysis.
- Participate in business case development for strategic projects.
Requirements:
- - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or Finance Business Partner roles.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and financial statements.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of liquidity and cash flow management.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
