- Oversee accounting and reconciliations related to digital assets, crypto wallets, exchanges, payment providers, banks, and other financial counterparties.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of transaction data flowing from operational/payment systems into accounting records.
- Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations across Group entities.
- Investigate discrepancies between accounting records, operational systems, wallet/exchange balances, and other data sources.
- Lead and coordinate a team of 4–5 accountants, including workload allocation, prioritization, quality control, and deadline management.
- Ensure accounting activities are completed in accordance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and established procedures.
- Identify discrepancies, process gaps and ensure their timely resolution.
- Drive the standardization, optimization, and automation of accounting processes across the Group.
- Take ownership of the overall quality and timely delivery of the accounting function.
Requirements:
- - Significant hands-on accounting experience at Senior Accountant, Lead Accountant, Accounting Manager, Chief Accountant, or similar level.
- Strong hands-on experience with 1C, including accounting entries, reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle, including GL, AP/AR, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proven ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities and preferably multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or other relevant accounting standards.
- Strong reconciliation skills and experience working with large and complex transactional datasets.
- Experience managing or coordinating an accounting team.
- Experience supporting external/statutory audits.
- Ability to understand complex transaction flows and translate them into appropriate accounting treatment.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to investigate discrepancies across multiple systems and data sources.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where products, transaction flows, and processes continue to evolve.
- Strong ownership mindset and willingness to take responsibility for the overall accounting and reporting result of the Group.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Russian.
Nice to have:
- Experience with businesses processing high volumes of transactions across multiple currencies.
- Experience with international Group structures and cross-border/intercompany transactions.
- Experience participating in audits of crypto or financial-services companies.
- Experience improving or automating high-volume reconciliation and accounting processes.
Previous accounting experience within crypto / digital assets / blockchain.
