Job description

Who we are

OneCrew is building the dominant platform in paving and asphalt — a rapidly digitizing and consolidating industry that's been too long overlooked. Our product spans the heart of our customers' operations: mapping, estimating, contracting, scheduling, invoicing, job costing, and integrations.

At OneCrew we're building something special. If you want to build the AI product function of a company transforming a massive, underserved industry — and you love to grind toward simple, powerful solutions — we want to hear from you.

The Role

We're looking to hire our second product person to help us:

  1. Capitalize on strong PMF by constantly improving our killer features
  1. Accelerate and refine product operations to get great products to our customers quickly and smoothly
  1. Help build an AI product function from the ground up

You'll work directly with our product lead and co-founders on the future of OneCrew. You'll get a front-row seat (and a hand on the wheel) at a growing startup serving critical construction businesses. This is a role for someone who loves solving problems and using AI to move faster each day.

What you'll do

  • Talk to customers, understand the root of their problems, and ship efficient solutions.
  • Build AI-powered product-operations loops — using agents and evals to automate discovery, analysis, QA, and the day-to-day of running product.
  • Develop our product-led growth motion — self-serve feature, activation, and expansion loops that grow ACV.
  • Define success metrics, analyze usage data to find trends and opportunities, and lead launches with sales, CS, and marketing.
  • Help shape OneCrew's AI features as we build agentic workflows across our platform.

Who you are

  • Early-to-mid career and hungry — you're looking for an environment to truly maximize your impact and grow ridiculously fast. You're an excellent manager of yourself, and you consider feedback on your work and performance a gift — never something to avoid.
  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup — you close loops and finish what you start.
  • Strong writer and communicator who can align engineers, designers, and go-to-market partners around both the vision and the details. You're constantly developing your ability to influence.
  • Systems thinker — you’re always looking for patterns, models, and relationships.
  • AI-first in how you work and think: you reach for agents, evals, and automation loops by default, and you have opinions about where they help and where they don't.
  • Highly analytical — able to take in quantitative and qualitative information and make fast, data-driven decisions while keeping customer empathy front and center.
  • You're already a power user of Claude Code, Google Sheets, and Figma. You can lead a conversation on both modal interface design and MCPs.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of product management or adjacent background (startup operations, consulting, design, or SWE) with demonstrated ability flexing across strategy, analytics, design, and coding.
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals including agentic coding.
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals, product-led and sales-led growth motions.
  • Track record of working on products that solved real problems and moved a metric.
  • Strong plus: hands-on fluency with AI feature development — you've built an agent, not just used one.
  • Strong plus: A background in software for SMBs, construction, field-service, or internal workflows.

What we offer

  • A great environment to grow, learn, and do your best work at a fun, fast-paced startup.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage (100%-covered options available).
  • Office perks: breakfast, weekly lunch, monthly team events.
